Timothy C. Forbes '76, Keynote Speaker
Timothy C. Forbes serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Forbes. Mr. Forbes is responsible for the day-to-day
operations of Forbes magazines and Forbes business divisions. He is also involved in the strategic planning and business
development of the company. In addition, he serves as Chairman of Forbes.com. Mr. Forbes joined the company in 1986, after
negotiating the acquisition of the American Heritage division, where he served as President. Prior to this, he was an award-winning
documentary film producer and screenwriter. His films on historical subjects and current affairs have been broadcast nationally
on PBS. During Mr. Forbes' tenure, the company has expanded the magazine's international reach in Europe, Asia and the Middle
East with the launch of Forbes Asia and the licensing of local-language editions that are published in China, Israel, Japan,
Korea, Poland, Russia, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. The company's flagship publication is Forbes, the nation’s
leading business magazine, with a North American circulation of more than 900,000. Forbes, Forbes Asia, with a circulation
of 80,000, and the company's eight local-language editions together reach a worldwide audience of over five million readers.
Forbes also publishes ForbesLife, the irreverent lifestyle bi-monthly, and ForbesLife Executive Woman, providing Forbes' community
of executive women with luxury lifestyle content that they value and respect. In 1996 Forbes entered the new media arena with

Dara Khosrowshahi '91, Keynote Speaker
Dara Khosrowshahi became CEO of Expedia, Inc. when it spun off from IAC/InterActiveCorp (IAC) in August 2005. Prior to
that, he was acting CEO of the travel portfolio within IAC from December 2004. Previously, Khosrowshahi had served as executive
vice president and chief financial officer of IAC/InterActiveCorp since January 2002. In this capacity, he oversaw all financial
matters of IAC, served in IAC's Office of the Chairman, and was directly involved in the expansion of IAC's travel portfolio
through various acquisitions. Khosrowshahi was IAC's executive vice president of operations and strategic planning from July
2000 to January 2002. From August 1999 to July 2000, Khosrowshahi served as president of USA Networks Interactive, a division
of IAC. In this capacity he oversaw management, operations, and strategic planning of the interactive services division. Khosrowshahi
joined IAC (then USA Networks) in 1998 as vice president of strategic planning. He was promoted to senior vice president in
May 1999. Prior to joining IAC, Khosrowshahi worked at Allen & Company LLC from 1991 to 1998, where he served as vice
president from 1995 to 1998. Khosrowshahi received a BA in engineering from Brown University in 1991.
