Drew is a senior concentrating in Commerce, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship: Business Economics Track. During the first semester of last year Drew served as the VP of Outreach. During the second half of the year, Drew studied economics at Oxford University. In addition to EP and school, Drew has co-founded a web-based startup called Digital Wingman. This past spring Digital Wingman took second place in the 2008 Rhode Island Business Plan Competition and 3rd in the 2008 Grand Valley State Business Plan Competition. During the past summers he has been an intern at AXA Financial Advisors and Baxter Healthcare. Most recently Drew interned at William Blair & Company in Chicago as a summer analyst in their M&A group of their Corporate Finance department. During Drew's first two years at Brown he was an active member of the varsity football team receiving freshman MVP recognition and contributing to the 2005 Ivy League Championship team.

Hometown: Old Westbury, New York

 

Ian is a senior who is concentrating in Cognitive Neuroscience, studying how and why people think and behave the way they do. Prior to attending Brown, Ian started QubeFactor Technologies, a web hosting and development company which at its peak in 2006 maintained over three hundred clients from around the world. Today the company focuses on developing creative and pragmatic web projects. In his spare time, Ian writes comedy and is an editor of The Jug, Brown's comedy magazine. He has also written for The Los Angeles Times Magazine and is the author of the New York Times Bestseling book, "The Truth About Chuck Norris: 400 Facts About the World's Greatest Human," which has received national and international media attention. Ian has also held internships in a variety of industries and institutions ranging from clinical research on Tourette's Syndrome at the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Manhasset, New York to content development for Cracked Entertainment in New York City, New York, and exhibit planning and fundraising for the Long Island Museum of Science and Technology in Garden City, New York.
